I thought of that little four-eyed loser last February when I saw Alessandro Michele’s Gucci debut. The Gucci of my youth, of course, was the height of the Tom Ford era—slinky white jersey and little black dresses, all cool and confident. But here, Michele seemed to say, was the 21st-century Gucci girl, an eccentric, fresh-faced weirdo who wasn’t afraid to wear backless fur-lined loafers, to personify the idea of “ugly pretty.”

That’s why I encourage them to invest in a quality timeless styles, rather than following every fashion trend that was not designed for their body shape in the first place! I believe there is a perfect dress for every woman- it is just not the same one.

Keep Moisturized: Moisturized skin will help lock in a scent. Try layering with a body lotion or oil. Body products with the same scent are known as ancillaries and increase lasting power.
Where to spray perfume: Spray on pulse points, décolleté, and behind the knees. Spritz or dab, but don’t rub; rubbing breaks down the scent molecule and may cause it to fade faster.

Apartment Geeks offers these suggestions for women, based on The Pocket Stylist: A nice dress, two jackets, three skirts, three sweaters, two dark trousers, two jeans, three coats, a white button-down shirt, and a few t-shirts should be flexible enough for both casual and dressier occasions. So, we did as any inquiring mind would do and pulled a few of the dewiest-complected aside to get their tricks to keeping blemishes at bay and getting that glow we all wish we had 24/7. Here, the chamber is opened.

1. Use ALL available space, but keep it organized.
2. Keep out-of-season (winter/summer) clothes out of the way.
3. You’re more likely to wear something if you can see it.
4. Keep 1-2 hooks empty for quick-n-dirty clean up.
5. Don’t forget the backs of deep shelves, and high-up places.

• Try installing a second closet rod above your main one. This basically doubles your hanging space. Buy a stool (my preference) or a reaching rod for access. I have often done this myself on the cheap–search around for tutorials or visit your local home improvement store.
• Matching hangers makes everything look so nice. I have these Joy Mangano ones and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. I bought a 200-pack or something like that when it was on special. Worth it.
• Cascading hooks are bloody genius and work with almost any hanger. Use two at a time!
